Dekton island countertop, an ultra-compact surface that is resistant to heat, cold, abrasion, stains...you can even write on it with a sharpie and it scrubs off!
With the refrigerator moved to a new location, a pantry area, coffee bar and microwave station were added. Layers of lighting were added. Island finish is in contrast to the perimeter cabinetsand topped with Dekton, creating a beautiful and functional focal point.
The sink area is flanked with glass doors visually extending the feel of the window. A board mounted valance brings pattern and supports the color scheme found throughout the new and exisitng rooms. A darker finish on the sink, cell shade and hardware provide a nice contrast to the light quartz countertops.
The range was relocated to an outside wall and received a dramatic tile backdrop.
