Kitchen Renovation Brookfield

This kitchen had beautiful cherry cabinets and a good layout, but had outgrown a few of the minor appliances (a trash compactor and extra mini-refrigerator) and the aesthetic was not reflective of the homeowners. The request for a light and bright update was paired with unique features and accents. After researching the cabinet maker, a plan was devised to replace the small appliances with base cabinets, matched to the original. Removing a ceiling detail allowed for a flat plane for udpated lighting. Milwork from the ceiling detail was REPURPOSED as crown on the refrigerator wall, finishing off a custom bookcase and wall cabinet custom matched to the original millwork. Can you tell the difference between the original cabinetry and the new additions?
